Short biography · EN

Jutta van den Berg is a singer-songwriter from Cologne — jazz, soul, pop — with an expressive, multifaceted, and authentic voice. She comes from a musically accomplished family; her father, the singer Werner Engelhardt, collaborated with the composer Karlheinz Stockhausen. After studying in Cologne she gained international popularity with the vocal quartet “Headline”, which she co-founded. TV and live appearances at home and abroad followed, as well as releases with the WDR Big Band, Paul Kuhn, Peter Herbolzheimer and Horst Jankowski; she is a winner of the “Goldene Europa” award. Her current song “Tomorrow” is released in a version with choir and in a version feat. Laurence Hobgood, Grammy Award winner. She describes “Tomorrow” as an anthem in the spirit of “We Are the World”.
